DAVID WOLLAM
David has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas Industries as a senior manager, director and consultant.
He has detailed knowledge of the subsea industry
with specialist knowledge of the subsea controls business.
David became involved in the subsea business in the early 1980s at TRW Ferranti, which was eventually acquired by Aker Kvaerner.
Employed initially as a Project Engineer, David held numerous senior management positions which culminated in the position of General
Manager for the Kvaerner Subsea Products business based in Aberdeen.
After a long career with Aker Kvaerner, David joined Vetco Gray in 2003, as Senior Vice President for the Controls business
based at Nailsea near Bristol.
In 2006, David moved to the Vetco office in London as Senior Vice President for Operations Support with specific responsibilities
for engineering, QHSE and logistics.
On the sale of the company to GE early in 2007, David left the business and is now employed as a consultant to BP at Sunbury,
developing a global standardisation philosophy for subsea production equipment.
In his time away from work David is a passionate Gloucester Rugby and Wolverhampton Wanderers football supporter and enjoys time
relaxing at his holiday home in Pembrokeshire.
David is happily married to Linda and they have three children, Sarah, 23, Thomas, 21 and Lucy 17.
