Strong Strategic Success

Viper Subsea has focused on strategically strengthening its business, to secure growth forecasts, and meet our customers’ requirements and expectations. Here are a few events:

Strengthening the Team

In the beginning of 2008, Viper Subsea extended a warm welcome to Mr David Wollam in joining the Management team as a non-executive director. David joined the company in February as a member of the management team to challenge the business in matters of strategy, bringing with him years of industry experience and a strong network from within the subsea business arena. Contract to support BP

Viper Subsea has secured a contract with BP to provide field support advice to one of its North Sea assets. The contract has been secured in response to Viper Subsea's specialist subsea systems knowledge, and we very much look forward to building on our recent success with BP for the future.

ISO 9001

The Quality Management System that has been put in place by Viper Subsea is successfully audited by a UKAS accredited assessor and are certified against the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The system was accredited within 9 months of starting the company. The scope of the quality system is: "The design, supply and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and optical equipment for offshore and subsea environments."

New Aberdeen Office

On the 5th of May 2008, Viper Subsea opened its new office in Aberdeen, approximately nine months ahead of schedule. The decision to accelerate the opening of the office was, in part, due to recent business success, part due to our recruitment of key personnel, and not least, to provide Viper Subsea local support to its Aberdeen- based customers. The new office is located at the Enterprise Centre, Bridge of Don.
