Our engineering and management team have extensive experience in subsea production systems, specialising in controls and distribution equipment. Whilst we can offer a range of engineering services to meet your needs, our primary focus is in the design and supply of subsea distribution systems and equipment (hydraulic, chemical, electrical and/ or optical). As an independent company we can engineer solutions based on client-nominated vendors or alternatively engineer solutions with vendors selected, based on clear and agreed client objectives for a given project.

Our head office is in Portishead, close to Bristol in the heart of the south west of England, just a five minute drive from junction 19 of the M5 motorway, or a 25-minute drive from Bristol International Airport. We also have an office at The Bridge of Don in Aberdeen which provides both engineering and asset integrity management services.

Curious about the name? The Company is named after the deepwater fish called the viperfish (not the snake!) The viperfish is a family of six species of marine fish belonging to the genus Chauliodus. They are dwellers of the deep-sea, found in tropical regions of the major oceans, and have luminescent organs along the sides to draw the attention of other fish. In their element subsea, harmless to humans – we liked the name!
